job Brief
The incumbent is accountable to promote products and services to customers, discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate contracts, and maintain customer satisfaction with the aim of maximizing profits.

Market Knowledge:

§Conduct market research to identify potential new customers.
§Analyse market trends to assess new products, including their advantages and disadvantages.
§Assist in the planning and execution of new product launches and events.
§Maintain technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, networking, benchmarking best practices and engaging in professional societies to stay current with best practices.

Business Development:

§Establish contact with potential customers to introduce our products, assess their needs, and explain how we can assist them.
§Offer support, information, and guidance to prospective customers through product demonstrations and collecting their feedback.
§Follow up with new customers post-demo to negotiate contracts and packages.
§Ensure all contract details are in full compliance with our rules and regulations.
§Conduct regular visits to customers to ensure quality service and report sales leads to the team.

Marketing:

§Coordinate with the Marketing Department for any new materials that need to be done.

Sales:

§Maintain relationships with existing customers by offering support, information, and guidance.
§Recommend new products based on customers' needs to strengthen the relationship.
§Provide existing customers with support, information, and guidance by performing product demonstrations to them and gathering their feedback.
§Answer product-related queries from customers in a professional and timely manner.
§Suggest service improvements to enhance the customer relationship.
§Provide valuable product recommendations and suggestions to customers to drive revenue growth.
§Negotiate contracts and packages with existing customers.
§Ensure quality service by adhering to Zahrawi standards.
§Contribute to team goals by achieving annual targets set by the management and assisting the team when required.

Data Track:

§Prepare and maintain reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales data, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all transactions.

Orders:

§Place orders with the concerned purchase coordinator.
§Follow up with the Procurement & Logistics team with regards to sending them the products and ensuring that they reach them on time.

Invoicing:

§Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure accurate invoicing and follow up on payments and collections.

Delivery:

§Coordinate with the warehouse for timely deliveries.

Application:

§Deliver training sessions to customers on equipment usage.
§Assist the customers with operating the equipment.
§Conduct validation tests with the customers to ensure proper understanding of equipment functionality.
§Address and resolve any issues encountered by customers during equipment use.

Radiation Safety:

§Understand, share and apply knowledge of shipping regulations for radioactive materials, customs and duties requirements, as per local regulatory and governmental authorities requirements, and other related concepts to ensure that the work is done efficiently in the region assigned.
§Develop, implement, and manage radiation safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
§Conduct regular radiation surveys, environmental monitoring, and safety audits.
§Provide training to staff on radiation protection procedures, use of radiation detection equipment, and emergency protocols.
§Perform risk assessments and recommend radiation protection measures.
§Investigate and report any radiation safety incidents, accidents, or exposures and report them to the line manager.
§Ensure proper and effective business communication and correspondence.

Radiation Security:

§Manage and enforce security protocols for radioactive materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory security standards.
§Perform security inspections of areas containing radioactive materials, including storage facilities and transportation routes.
§Coordinate with security personnel to ensure appropriate access control and monitoring systems are in place for radioactive material storage.
§Monitor the inventory of radioactive materials and ensure it is accurately tracked.
§Develop and execute plans for the secure disposal of radioactive waste.

Compliance and Documentation:

§Maintain records of radiation safety inspections, audits, and security measures.
§Ensure the proper handling, transportation, and disposal of radioactive materials as per regulatory guidelines.
§Liaise with regulatory agencies and assist in audits or inspections.

Document Processing:

§Coordinate the approval process for imports with all relevant government authorities. (as required by local regulations)
§Prepare and track the necessary documentation for import and export permits related to radioactive materials.
§Monitor the status of import and export permits with the Police, General Security, and governmental authorities.

Reports:

§Track the expiration dates and remaining quantities of import permits and submit a monthly report.
§Periodic reporting to the Line Manager

Operation Optimization:

§Track radioactive shipments to ensure timely delivery.
§Monitor the delivery of radioactive materials and confirm receipt by the hospital's RSO.
 
 
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering 
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience 
  • Job Specific Skills: Experience with Nuclear Medicine
  • Additional details: Candidates are preferred to be based in Bahrain and willing to move to company visa.
