job Brief
The incumbent is accountable for the recruitment in Zahrawi for UAE, Oman, Qatar & Bahrain, by sourcing and interviewing candidates for the open positions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Policies & Procedures:

  • Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures as applicable.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Responsible for the different recruitment channels used by Zahrawi.
  • Sourcing and interviewing potential candidates over the phone for the open positions.
  • Updating the Recruitment sheet on a regular basis.
  • Organizing all documents received from candidates in different folders, including CVs, cover letters, passport copies, presentations and transcripts.
  • Localization: Hire Local employees in priority in each of the territories to maintain a minimum % to increase localization (Omanization, Bahrainization, Emiratization etc.…)
  • Diversity: Ensure conscious hiring of a diverse workforce (Gender & nationalities) 

Applicant Tracking System:

  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking system- Taleo (An Oracle System) and implementation periodically.

 

Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure updated Job Descriptions are created for each Position- Continuous Basis to identify the right candidates and share the JD with applicants.
  • Annual Review of all Job Descriptions to have them always updated.
  • Ensure all JD’s are developed, modified & maintained in the online ERP system.

Internal Sourcing:

  •  
  • Zahrawi Website Job Posting – Monthly refresher of Jobs posted to keep it updated. (www.zahrawigroup.com)
  • Internal Job Posting: Advertise positions internally except confidential ones to have Zahrawian’s apply for advertised positions and that a fair chance is given for career development, Lateral movement, and succession planning.
  • Employee Referral Programme- Enhance the Referral Programme policy & promote the Programme to reward employees eligible.
  • Build the Network: have a database of candidates to ensure that the company has access to the widest possible pool of candidates to choose from.
  • Talent Pool: Develop and maintain a Talent Pool of high caliber candidates specially for key positions in the region and industry to be reached out for open positions.
  •  Internship: Driving the Internship Program and creating opportunities for candidates in the company from Top Universities ensuring that they have worked on good projects and have been an added value to the business.

External Sourcing:

  • Recruitment Consultants- Identify Recruitment Consultants and negotiate terms that suit the business need.
  • Job portals: Negotiate annual contracts for the group for (Bayt/ Naukri Gulf/ LinkedIn (Recruiter Lite etc.)  and other platforms.
  • Job Fairs/ Career Fairs: Maintain relationships with universities and participate in job Fairs and career events to have a presence and encourage fresh graduates to apply for internal positions. 
  • Other Platforms: Instagram/ Newspaper advertisements/Indeed/Dubizzle/ Customer or Supplier References and other platforms.
  • Agencies: Contacting and following up with different recruitment agencies to assist with hiring when needed.

 

Interview & Selection:

  • Assessing candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Sending all shortlisted candidates to the respective Line Managers and following up with their feedback.
  • Arranging interviews with shortlisted candidates and informing them of all details of the vacancy.
  • Conducting interviews with shortlisted candidates along with the Line Managers.
  • Providing feedback to the Sr. HR & Admin Manager on the status of the interviews conducted.
  • Arranging a second interview when needed with the Line Managers, Head of Departments and Sr. HR & Admin Manager.
  • Performing background checks and employee references when needed.
  • Ensure that all Interview Evaluation Forms are complete and submitted by the Line Manager

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree 
  • Additional details: Candidates must be based in the UAE and must be willing to move to Compay Visa.
  • Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience
  • Job Specific Skills: Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Interviewing Skills, Recruitment KPIs
