job Brief
The incumbent will be accountable to coordinate and assist in the transportation, import and export of radioactive materials in order to ensure compliance with RSO rules.ACCOUNTABILITIES
Policies & Procedures:
- Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures as applicable.
Coordination:
- Understand, share and apply knowledge of shipping regulations for radioactive materials, customs and duties requirements, Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) requirements, and other related concepts to ensure that the work is done efficiently.
- Identify problems and address it to the Line Manager.
- Responsible for proper and effective business correspondence and communication.
- Coordinate importation approvals from all necessary governmental authorities.
Document Processing:
- Prepare and follow up the required documents for import and export permits for all related radioactive materials.
- Follow up the status of import and export permits with (Police, General Security and SFDA).
Reporting:
- Follow up on the expiration and remaining quantities of the import permits and send monthly report.
Operation Optimization:
- Follow up the radioactive shipments and ensure that they arrive on time.
- Clear all shipments related to NM&RT from customs.
- Follow up all radioactive materials delivery and ensure that they are received by the hospital's RSO.
Monitoring:
- Monitor radiation levels that both transportation staff and other staff are exposed to in the company.
- Ensure radioactive transportation license are renewed and updated before their expiry dates with NRRC.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred physics or science related field). - Qualified to obtain Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) license from NRRC
- Experience: 1+ Years of relevant experience (as applicable)
- Job Specific Skills: Good MS Office Skills & communication skills - Problem solving - Time management & Process management skills.
- Additional Details: Candidate should be Saudi National and based in Riyadh, KSA.
